All Homeowners must agree to the following,
By agreeing to this application, you hereby authorize us to legally assist in applying for the Greener Homes Loan on your behalf. This includes but is not limited to, completely authorizing all your documents necessary for the application.
You also grant us Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) rights to debit your bank account based on the void cheque you provide, both when you receive the deposit from the Greener Homes Loan and when the loan is fully funded.
In addition, you agree, acknowledge, and represent that by personally submitting this application, you authorize us to obtain your credit report from one or more consumer credit reporting agencies. We may verify the information in your credit report with third parties as necessary and periodically update your credit information with credit reporting agencies.
Furthermore, you consent to accept, receive, and use in electronic form any loan agreement (and any amendments or renewals), disclosure statements, notices, or other associated documents and/or information that may be delivered to you.
Notes:
- Service Scope: Consumers Energy Services (hereafter referred to as "Company") agrees to provide a comprehensive energy evaluation of the customer's property, including an audit of current energy usage and recommendations for improvements.
- Payment Terms: The customer agrees to pay for the energy evaluation service. Payment is due at the time of scheduling the service.
- Service Completion: The energy evaluation will be completed on the agreed service date. The customer must ensure access to the property for the Company's representatives.
- Refund Policy: If the energy audit has not been completed, the customer is eligible for a full refund of the service fee. Once the audit has commenced, no refunds will be issued.
- Customer Cooperation: The customer agrees to provide accurate information and necessary access to their property to facilitate the evaluation.
- Confidentiality: All findings and recommendations provided by the Company will be kept confidential and used solely to improve the customer's energy efficiency.
- Limitation of Liability: The Company is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the evaluation's findings and recommendations.
- Agreement Termination: Either party may terminate this agreement in writing before the commencement of the audit. Upon termination, the customer will receive a full refund if the audit has not started. The audit date is to be scheduled within 4 days of the payment. Pre-Retrofit Energy Evaluation service scheduled. Refunds are available only if the audit has not been completed. A full-service fee is due upon scheduling.
- Terms: The customer can pay via e-transfer to payments@consumersenergy.ca or through Credit Card over the phone by calling +1 866-689-5130.
By signing this form, the client authorizes Consumers Energy Services to charge the provided credit card for the amount of the audit plus HST for the Pre-Retrofit Energy Evaluation service.
